My work explores culture, memory, and the stories that shape how we move through the world.
I’m drawn to bold color, symbolic patterns, and the rhythm of ancestral influence. Each piece begins with a moment, a feeling, a question, a memory, and grows into something layered, textured, and alive.
I create to understand myself and the world around me. You’re invited to explore and see what speaks to you in your own way.
Echoes of the Ancestors
This piece reflects heritage, memory, and the quiet power that moves through our lineage. Warm oranges and reds carry a sense of energy and resilience, while the blue background opens space for calm and reflection.
At its core, it’s an acknowledgment of the people who came before us. Their stories, choices, and journeys created the foundation we stand on today.

This work draws inspiration from the cultural heritage of the Mandinka people, whose traditions, artistry, and storytelling have shaped generations. Painted on glass, the colors and patterns echo elements of ceremonial design while bringing a modern interpretation to a timeless visual language.
Every line and shape reflects a connection to resilience, creativity, and heritage, expressed through bold color and intricate form.

Mandinka-Inspired on Glass
Duality-Carved wood and acrylic paint
This piece reflects the idea of duality and the roles we’re often expected to fit into. Society tends to divide masculinity and femininity into separate boxes, creating pressure to choose one or the other. These expectations can leave people feeling limited or unseen.
In reality, we hold many layers at once. We carry different energies, strengths, and expressions within us, and when we allow space for the full spectrum of who we are, something more honest emerges. Duality becomes less about opposites and more about balance and integration.
This work is not about choosing sides. It’s about becoming whole and living in a way that feels true.

This piece is a reflection of my mother’s presence , strong, layered, and quietly expressive. The vibrant colors surrounding her echo the energy she carried, while the darker lines anchor the portrait in memory and lived experience.
The work captures more than likeness. It holds the moments, influences, and stories that shaped me, expressed through a mix of bold color and raw texture. It is both personal and universal, an acknowledgment of the people who guide us, teach us, and leave their mark on who we become.

Portrait of My Mother
Portrait of Strength
This piece is inspired by my sister, whose life has been a testament to resilience and quiet determination. The bold colors and intricate patterns reflect the depth of her spirit, while the vivid blue skin symbolizes clarity, presence, and an unshakable inner world.
Surrounded by symbols and geometric forms, she stands as both an individual and a representation of those who rise despite obstacles. Her disability has never defined her. Instead, she has shaped her own path with courage, humor, and a strength that moves far beyond what can be seen.
This work honors her journey and the power of those who meet the world on their own terms.
